As our residents know, we recently sold the site to the Southern Chile Hacienda of Dairy and Cow Traders. We were excited as they seemed like good blokes. Plus they paid us what we thought was a ton of money. Many of you know we planned on visiting foreign lands and the white sands of Utah. We did neither.
Rather than go into great detail regarding how we were scammed and eventually regained control of our nearly award winning website, we will give you some highlights:
-first sign of trouble was celebratory dinner at Texas de Brazil and our Diners Club Card was rejected. How could this be possible after the Traders paid us 70,000 yen for the website?
- we had to delay travel as one of out retirement gifts to ourselves was a new TV. We have been saving for this for awhile. So worth it. It is 32 inches of beauty and included applications with it. We got a free 7 day trial of Netflix. You are warned, this application is addictive. You can watch whole seasons of shows one after the other. The also have a bunch of movies. We are not getting paid to endorse this site, but it is amazing and we always happy to help out a startup website as we were in their shoes at one point. Our favorite was the show called Tiger King. We don't want to give it away and spoil it for you, but oh boy you will be on edge of your seat and not believe what happens.
-Started our next business venture. sadly onlyfans.com/schdct.org was not a commercial success;
- Our finances continued to dwindle but the calls we were getting from the Traders increased. First because they kept forgetting the password to the site and then some anger regarding the number of hits they were receiving on the site.
-The tensions on both sides continued to grow. Very heated discussions on the phone. Surprisingly they argued in perfect English and kept the site in English in a Portugese speaking nation. Maybe why this is why they got no hits. According to them, the only hits they were getting was from the Journey fan club in anticipation of the sow at the auction and hundreds of hits a day from the central region of Connecticut.
-Their whining and our anger at them for claiming 70,000 yen was alot of money, reached its peak on Labor Day. We flew down to Buenos Aries (and then had to drive to Chile since Buenos Aries we found out as we landed is in Argentina). Don't cry for us. We marched into the Traders office, draped in the American flag and took back the site. What a day, birth of our nation and schdct.org (the original) was back in the hands of Americans rather than the no good Communists.
- Out of respect for Mr. Travis Tritt, who will be playing at the traders auction, we have decided to leave the content of the Traders website up for the time being. Plus we hoping that the rift between us and the Traders heals by December and we score free tix to the show. We will be singing Achy Breaky Heart louder than anyone else at the show if we get the invite.
-During our time away we attended some classes at the Hollywood Upstairs Medical College. So we will be using what we learned to make for a better website. We will be posting a business plan later today.
For our loyal residents and fans who have beseiged us with calls, telegrams, kookies, honey buns and flowers since the announcement was made of our return...we are touched and thank you.
